Norwegian Jade entered service for NCL in 2006 as Pride of Hawaii. The ship was renamed in 2008. Norwegian Jade is 965 feet in length, has twelve passenger decks and an impressive atrium. With a capacity just under 2200, the ship has approximately 2.0 passengers per crew member.

Norwegian Cruise Line offers passengers a diverse menu of shore excursions through its website, which enables passengers to search by Destination (Caribbean, Alaska, etc.) and specific Port. Shore Excursions are segmented by Activity Level (1-3), Duration and Price. Passengers tell us they like the Shore Excursions portion of NCL's website for the following reasons:
- User-friendly site & pages load quickly
- You can browse shore excursions without having an NCL booking
- Price is displayed prominently

Norwegian Jade has over 1100 cabins onboard. You can choose from an Inside, Ocean View, Balcony or Suite. When selecting a cabin, make sure you know which public areas are near, above and below your cabin. Everyone's tastes are different, but it's best not to be surprised when you get onboard.

Norwegian Cruise Line does not allow passengers to bring alcoholic beverages onboard the ship. We hear from past travelers that it's not even worth trying to bring your own onboard. Alcohol purchased in Norwegian Jade's duty free or in port will also be held until the end of your trip.

Norwegian Jade features numerous bars & lounges. Whether you are looking for a quiet drink or a place to meet up with friends for the evening, the choices are extensive. Here are some of the most popular spots onboard the ship:
Norwegian Jade's main entertainment venue is the three-level Stardust Theater. Typically, there are two seatings for the theatrical, musical or comedic productions each evening. The Stardust Theater can accommodate approximately 1000 guests.
The Jade Club Casino is open while the ship is "At Sea." You will find popular table games, including Black Jack, Craps, Let It Ride, Poker and Roulette. You will also find lots of Slot Machines and Video Poker. Just a reminder, you must be 18 years of age to enter the casino.
Norwegian Jade has several pools and spa tubs onboard. Deck 12 is home to the Main Pool and the Kid's Pool. If you have been onboard, drop us a line and tell us about the deck scene, service, availability of lounge chairs and other helpful information.

Norwegian Jade's Fitness Center is located on Deck 12. You can exercise on elliptical trainers, treadmills and stationary bikes. There are also weight training machines and free-weights available. They also offer a number of classes.
